These pages contain my thoughts on the meaning and messages of tarot cards that I have drawn for myself. Some of this will be based on traditional interpretations of each card however my intention is to provide more intuitive offerings that are particular to my own life and circumstances at the time.

Sometimes, however, one cannot always see the forest for the trees so I welcome and appreciate comments with any further insights others may like to extend.

Thank you for your visit here; may you find something that resonates within your soul amongst these humble writings. Blessed be.

Card of the Day for Tuesday 7 September - Knight of Swords

Knights are impetuous but are of an ilk destined to succeed. The absence of the level-headed superiority of the King is offset in the Knight by energy, passion and action.

Swords belong to the realm of thought. Logic, strategy, planning are all important but the clearest message from the Knight of Swords is the importance of taking action on these things.

We may be tied up (down?) in emotions or practicalities but the Knight of Swords asks us - no, commands us - to push those obstacles aside, or better yet, to mount his powerful white horse with him and gallop with the aid of outstretched wings to take flight over these obstacles and to charge forward with great force towards the plans that have been mulling around in your head.

The Knight of Swords is a wonderful omen that your plans will be successful if you take action on them at this time.
